In John instead of starting with the geneology of Jesus he points to Jesus being the divine Son of God that Jesus was at creation with God and He was God. I would think why does John say the apostle that Jesus loved and it’s because he focuses on Gods’ love for us and what that love did for us. This gospel is where the most famaous scripture comes from and its about Gods’ love “for God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 John writes about the miracles of Jesus that prove Jesus divinity and His prophetic words.
