The book of Numbers demonstrates that our God is a god of order. From counting every person in every tribe, to assigning duties to each tribe, and ordering them where to dwell. He is pure and holy and required people to be pure and holy or else they would be exiled. One thing that stuck out to me in chapter 5 was the offering required when one was hit with the spirit of jealousy. If we were still bound by the law today, we’d all be broke trying to pay our offerings for the wrong we’ve done! Thank you Jesus for the ultimate sacrifice and final atonement!! Two major topics in this book are guidance and deliverance. Where He guides, He will provide!
