This is the first and second census every tribe was counted even all the livestock. The Levites were set apart they didn’t receive any property but they had privilege to be in charge of the tabernacle. The Israelites continue to whine and complain never satisfied and impatient waiting for the promised land. God had them wait 40 years for the new generation to be promised the land.
