The book of Nehemiah is one to truly learn from. I don’t believe it can be fully understood by reading it only once. God burdened Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of the ruined city of Jerusalem. It shows the power of people united for the greater good. Nehemiah remained diligent regardless of the opposition that he faced. He continued to lead the people and prayerful until the assignment was complete. The enemy may be relentless but nothing can stop the plans of GOD for your life. When the enemy is fighting you, it is confirmation that you are doing the work of GOD and as long as you fight and pray, GOD will see to it that you succeed. Confessing your sin has a bigger role than you think and more importantly, though a requirement, restoration is not for one person but a nation. That is an idea to lead with.
