This book illustrates specific instructions for the different types of worship/ offerings that are to be pleasing to the Lord for different purposes by the people. It describes to the people on how to live a holy life and to live in the light of the father God. It shows the constant importance of making it right with God with our sins and the things that we have done against his name and against other people in the community around them and how to make it correct in his eyes. It also shows the importance of being obedient to what God says and the possible repercussions for those people who choose in their own power not to obey what God asks of them just as the Lord dealt with Nadab and Abihu in Lev. 10:1-2 and was meant to be an example to the other people who chose not to listen either. Blessings brought down by God only resulted by obedience by the people.
