The Book of Judges- The Israelites again and again were disobedient to the Lord by not obeying. Yet, The Lord continue to help the Israelites but not until he punish them for their disobedience. The Israelites were under oppression for their obedience. The Israelites continue to cry out to the Lord for help. Once the Israelites repented and ask god for help he sent the leaders to drive out the enemy. The leaders were known as Judges Once the Israelites  had victory it the began to turn their hearts to God. What amazed me was Gideon was only allowed to take 300 men against larger armies and Gideon obeyed the Lord and he defeated his enemies . Gideon also had seventy sons, wow now that’s a lot of children.
