In the book of Judges, I read about the generation of kings/rulers of the people. I found the story of Samson very interesting while reading about the strength that he was anointed with. The story of Ehud killing the king caught me by surprise. Overall, the stories in Judges was an interesting read.
In Ruth, I found it nice on how Ruth stayed with her mother in law, and I found it pretty cool at the end how in order to purchase the land, Ruth had to be married as well to represent the land for generations. I found the four chapter read of Ruth as a good read.
