The book of Job in the Bible clearly shows us that difficult times and heartache will come even as children of God. Suffering never feels good however as Christians it is vital to have a deep connection or relationship with God and know that He loves you and to fully rely on Him and trust Him. In a time of suffering, if we know that God loves us, has good thoughts and plans for us, and is in control of everything, then this will be the hope that we have, that no matter what is going on in our lives, God has a reason and a purpose for all things. If we understand that, we can endure under trial.
