Job- He was a righteous wealthy man. Satan petitions God to attack Job and test him. He did not believe Job would remain faithful to God if everything was taken from him including his health but Job remained faithful. This shows us during a time of great suffering it is possible to remain faithful to God. Sometimes bad things happen to good people because they are being tested. Jobs friends accuse Job of sinning or doing something bad because of everything that happened to him. In the end God blesses Job with twice as much as he had before his trials.
Psalms- The book of worship and praise to God for his faithfulness. It instructs for us to meditate on God’s word day and night so that our lives will be fruitful and we will prosper on whatever we do. The book of psalms also explains that God is near to the broken hearted.
