In the book of Job we learn about foundational themes that every Christian or better yet every person will contend with or contemplate especially in trials and times of suffering. We will wonder about Gods Character. As we seek him we will realize that Gods character is loving and righteous despite what the world says. Our trust will be tested. Will we trust in what says the Lord or will we trust in what we see.
In the book of Psalms God gave us book that can be used to sustain us not matter the situation. God knew that on this imperfect earth we would encounter peaks of joy and canyons of desolation. We may not know how to grasp or understand what we are growing through but God gave us Psalms as a place to get understanding.
