Jeremiah – It is in this book that God reveals a new kingdom covenant with his people to cleanse them, give them new hearts and restore them. The message is that despite our sin God offers us restoration if we a repent and return to him
Lamentations – This book is written by Jeremiah “the weeping prophet” and is a poetic expression of pain from sins consequences. In the middle of all this pain Jeremiah speaks of the faithfulness of God. This book is a reminder that sin brings pain, but God is always ready to show mercy as long as we repent and return to him.
