The book of James is reminder to us that we must self examine ourselves to ensure that we are aligned in our words and action with what the word of God says. We must let our actions prove our faith is real and genuine in the time of troubles, trials, and temptation. As believers and followers of Christ, we will and should stand out as being different and it should be evident to the world as we are not blending into the ways of the world.
