A book of prophesy given to Isaiah from the Lord. The Lord is telling the people to turn from their evil ways and to turn back to him. There are many verses in this book that speak of the birth of Jesus and things that he went through in his life, even down to how he would die and be buried. The Lord through Isaiah challenges his people to basically, get their act right, or face imminent judgement even through there will be eventual restoration in the end.
