He was also telling them that the great day of judgement “The Day Of The Lord” would not take them by surprise, but that there would be a series of events that would happen first. Although believers may suffer now, God has an eternity of comfort and reward waiting for us. For those that refuse to obey God, there will be sorrow, pain, and judgement. Paul also reminds us that we need to live in such a way that God is honored. While waiting for Christ’s return, we as Christians need to live lives that are pleasing to our Lord. </span></p>

    I  enjoyed reading about what you learned/ what stood out to you. The “Day Of our Lord” is closer than many people think! Thank the Lord that he is a merciful God waiting for more people to repent before he comes back.
