The chapters of genealogies are always hard chapters to get through but it is interesting to see the connections of all of Gods chosen people. But reading the account again from another chronological stand point; you almost want to see another ending for God’s people. But it is always interesting to see the order that God requires in the duties for the musicians and gatekeepers. He required such order in everything and when the people wanted a king he gave them a king, Saul. But he chose David and Gods stands true to his covenant to him. Then we get to see his son, Solomon, build God’s temple. We also get one of the great promises that is true for us today. That if we humble ourselves and pray and seek Gods face and turn from their wicked ways God will hear from heaven and will forgive our sins.
