I and II Chronicles recaps the history of the children of Israel. It provides an account in order from Adam to Nehemiah.  David was not allowed to build the temple because he had shed blood but his son king Solomon built it. I like that when the temple was completed Solomon prayed, sacrifice and invited nonjews to come pray there, and he ask God to answer their prayers.  Solomon wanted everyone to know and reverence God.  The Davidic Covenant is God promise to David through Nathan that the Messiah will come from his lineage to establish a kingdom that will endure forever.  I like that God did not place any conditions of obedience in order for this Covenant to be fulfilled. I thank God that through Davidic Covenant Jesus was born to save us from sin sickness and poverty.
