1 Peter solidifies The living hope we have in Jesus. It allows our souls to be anchored to hope as a rope, in that if we can just hang onto the rope of hope we are going to make it through to the other side. It’s the living hope we have in a living saviour that allows our souls to live beyond this earthly dimension. It’s our faith that secures our grip on the rope of hope to keep moving up the rope one grip at a time until we’ve reached the “end” and finished our races. Praise God for a living hope that we can set our heels and hearts on and in!
