    EZRA

IN EZRA CHAPTER 3 IT TELLS US THAT JOSHUA BEGAN TO BUILD THE ALTAR OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL FOR BURNT OFFERINGS DESPITE OF THE FEAR OFTHE PEOPLE AROUND HIM. ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE SEVENTH MONT THEY BEGAN TO OFFER BURNT OFFERINGS TO THE LORD. AND SO WHEN XERXES BEGAN HIS REIGN THEY LODGED AN ACCUSATION AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF JUDAH AND JERUSALEM.

    NEHEMIAH

IN THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH THE WALL OF JERUSALEM HAD BEEN BROKEN DOWN AND ITS GATES HAD BEEN BURNT WITH FIRE. SO THE FISH GATE HAD BEEN REBUILT BY HASSENAAH, THEY REINFORCED IT WITH DOORS AND BOLTS AND BARS. SANBALLAT HEARD THAT THEY WERE REBUILDING THE WALL HE BECAME ANGRY AND RIDICULED THE JEWS.

In Ezra we see that Joshua began to build the alter for the God of Israel for burnt Offerings despite the fear of the surrounding people. Then we see a king started to reign and his name was Xerxes and he started to accuse Gods people, and then in the book of Nehemiah we see it was his passion that he wanted to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Powerful.
