Its comforting to see God keep His promises. He promised He would return the people back to the promise land and He did. It is crazy to believe that only 50,000 were led back to Jerusalem. And now we can get to read of how God rebuilds. He hears the cries of His people and He helps them rebuild what was destroyed. It is amazing to see how Nehemiah gets a pain in his heart to hear about his home town and how he is release from a prestigious job to go back and rebuild what was destroyed. Now we have this story to show us if we pray to God to rebuild our lives after its been ruined by our sin, He is faithful and just to do it.
