I enjoyed reading the book of Exodus and learning about Moses’ life, how God used Moses and Aaron to save the Israelites, the plagues in Egypt, how God would harden the heart of Pharaoh to carry out His plan, the parting of the Red Sea, how the 10 commandments came about, the laws and how there were actually severe consequences to breaking the law, and the fascinating description of the tabernacle. A major theme throughout the book is the Israelites complaining to Moses about their safety and wellbeing after he simply tells them to do what God instructed. Moses would feel the pressure but would tell them to stay calm for the Lord is with them and He will guide and protect them.
