The book of Esther is an example of God’s divine guidance and care over our lives. For me the the main lesson I got from this book was that it does not pay off to be hateful and that we cannot curse what God has blessed. Mortdecai was favored by the King for saving the King’s life. Also Queen Esther was queen at God’s perfect timing. The scripture that stood out to me the most was (Esther 6:10-13) Hanan was describing what the King should do for someone that he honors because he thought it was for him but it was for Mordechai, the man who he despised. His hate and evilness caused his own death.
