    Jaime Ahumada

This book records the annual festival of Purim and to keep it alive for the later generations the memory of the great deliverance of the Jewish people during the reign of Xerxes. It also accounts of that observance and the obligation for its perpetual commemoration. Throughout much of the story it mentions the on going conflict between Israel and the Amalekites.
