Deutoronomy reinforces to me how important obedience is to pleasing God, and to allowing him to fulfill His promises to us in our lives. What He asks of us is so simple – fear Him, walk in all His ways, Love Him, serve Him, keep His Commandments. Yet we make it so difficult with our sin. I’m thankful for His great love, mercy, grace, and faithfulness, and for giving us the Holy Spirit to help us obey.
