Deuteronomy , I can only learn by the trials and tribulations of our fore families . This book contains much legal detail but with an emphasis on the behavior of the people rather than the priest . We are reminded of Israels rebellion to the lord that brought devastating consequences to the people . But we also are reminded of the lord’s faithfulness giving victory over there enemies , leading them out of the wilderness and to the doorstep of the promise land .
