The book of Deuteronomy is very detailed with instructions from God. It starts off with Moses speaking to Israel going over the previous command to enter Canaan then appointing all of the tribal leaders. To Israel’s refusal to enter the land and the penalty for Israel’s rebellion into the desert 40 years and the defeat of King Sihon a king of Dividing the Land East of the Jordan. It continued into when Moses was forbidden to enter the land, and ended with Moses commanding obedience from Israel into the introduction of God’s law and the ten commandments – it further goes into depth about tithing principals, clean and unclean meat, cancelling debts every 7 years, being generous to the poor, the Passover and the feast of tabernacles; the announcement of a new prophet like Moses to come. The choice of life or death, to Joshua being named the new leader of Israel.. and at the end Moses finally Blessed Israel and then it explained how his death occured and how his remains to this day are no where to be found.
