<p class=”MsoNormal”><span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> </span>Week #8<span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> </span>Biblical Science; Book of Samuel: Lesson #8</p>
<p class=”MsoNormal”>First Samuel is actually the first half of a single book that was divided into two parts, 1<sup>st</sup> and 2<sup>nd</sup> Samuel were together too long to fit on the Scroll. The Books are names for one of the main Characters, who was a Prophet and also the last Judge to Lead Israel.<span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> </span>The first part of 1<sup>st</sup> Samuel (Ch 1:1-7) talks about the life of Samuel and how he helped Israel’s Army Fight against enemies that were making Raids in Israel.</p>
<p class=”MsoNormal”>But let me give you some insight how Samuel came into this position as a Prophet, his Mother whose Name is Hannah and is a Godly woman with much Faith, was desperate and cried out to God if he would only give her a son, she would dedicate him to do the Lord’s Work… You see Hannah was Barren and couldn’t have Children, and God was Faithfull and answered her PRAYER” S and so she conceived and Samuel was Born and when he was Weaned, she took him to Eli in the temple and she also promised to never cut his hair. Because of Hannah’s faithfulness she later conceived more Children 3 more son’s and two daughters. It’s so easy to go in a different direction with the Gift’s God has giving us, because we want to hold on the them and keep them for ourselves, but like Hannah when we give God that which he has given us and more Precious to us, we can trust him with it, and God will give us back much more. In 1<sup>st</sup> Samuel (Ch 3:9 Ch 4: 1) Hannah’s faith in God paid off- Samuel grew up to become a famous Prophet of the LORD. And as I said Earlier although it may have been difficult for Hannah to give her Son up, she demonstrated GREAT TRUST THAT GOD WOULD TAKE CARE OF SAMUEL AND HE DID…<span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> </span></p>
