The book of David we often hear of David being a man after Gods own heart to red about some of his shortcomings is is inspiring because we can mess up and God still knows our heart, that we still love Him and He doesnt leave us if we mess up. What also stood out was the story of Amnon and Tamar, as parents when our children are given everything they dont know restrain. I do struggle to understand the severe punishment of Uzzah for doing what seemed like a good thing, I trust that God is just; I understand that there was laws on how to handle the arc and king David was not following them. Its ultimately up to us as individuals to know Gods comands because only we are liable for the consequences of our actions.
