The book of 1 Kings starts with the David and his old age and his death. His son Solomon is now King and he build the Temple of Jerusalem. Solomon was a great king with Great Wisdom. He reigned over Israel for 40 years. His son Rehoboam became the next king. This book also covers the division of the Kingdom, North and South Israel and Judah. Also it gives the Kings in who ruled Israel and Judah . The story about the two prostitutes’ having children and one died. Solomon had to decide who was the True mother of the child that is Alive. He recognized the real Mothers love for her child not to bring harm against the baby. This is truly what a mother would do for her Childs safety.
