COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will give students an introduction to sermon preparation and delivery. They will learn how to hear God so they can minister to the audience in a relevant and life transforming way. Students will learn to use storytelling, illustrations, and relevant application in their sermon delivery.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course:

1. Students will understand exegesis in its use and format. Dissecting the word in order to structure sermon outlines.

2. Students will learn both topical and expository sermon format styles.

3. Students will learn how to be sensitive to the holy spirit when developing a sermon.

4. Students will overcome hindrances to sermon delivery. Such as: nervousness, loss of focus, and use of filler words by developing sermon delivery skillset.
