COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will give students an introduction to the evangelistic methodology displayed by God in the book of Job, Paul at the Areopagus, and Jesus when encountered by the Pharisees. Apologetics is a defense of the gospel. It answers the questions unbelievers ask, provides understanding for the skeptic, and most importantly strengthening of faith for the believer…

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course: 

  1. Students will understand what Christian apologetics is and why it is used to evangelize.
  1. Students will receive training on gathering and researching evidence biblically, scientifically, historically, and archaeologically in order to present as evidence.
  1. Students will gain confidence in their own Christian beliefs and in witnessing to skeptics.
  1. Students will be able to study and comprehend the bible with greater authority.
