Deuteronomy is a book of transitions ? It is transition to a new generation, a transition to a new possession, a new experience, and new law. It is a preparation for the new. The background of this new transition is God’s wonderful love. This era of newness can only be possessed by one’s obedience to the Lord. This obedience can only come from a love for God that motivates and activates one to comply. It is my hope that my motivations are only compelled by my love for Him alone!
