Paul was showing Titus how to select and establish Godly leaders in the church. He spoke of the spiritual qualifications for “elder” and told him to remind everyone to adorn the doctrine by living a lifestyle that glorified God. He also spoke on good works and how they must become a lifestyle. In Philemon he spoke about forgiveness and related it to how Jesus took our debt and defends us before the Father.
