The book of Numbers, Numbers means desert. God ordered a census/ counting all of the people. Moses and Israelites wandered throughout the wilderness before ending up in Canaan, as that is their promise land. During their travels it describes their suffering and numerous complaints against God. God’s covenant plan stays on track even when his people don’t. All the sins complaining and rebellion is widespread and it seems they will never make it. God got mad but he didn’t get vengeful or even with them. Regardless of what men do God is out to bless this and protect this until we please him with our faith and love. Here it is shows he doesn’t give up on us even at our worst and still God speaks to his people.
