Revelation Part 1 taught me about the 7 churches: Ephesus (church of the apostles), Smyrna (church of persecution), Pergamos (church of the world), Thyatira (church of the state), Sardis (church of the Reformation), Philadelphia (church means open door), Laodicea (church of the last days before the coming of Christ), and how we, as members of the church, can identify to one of these churches.
