<span style=”font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: ‘Times New Roman’,serif;”>From this book we see that although many of Gods people did not return back to Jerusalem God still cared and protected them. God can use ANYONE of us for something great just as he did with Esther. Esther was a beautiful woman who happened to be an orphan who was adopted by her cousin Mordecai. She was a Jew. <span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> Because of the offense of Mordecai not bowing Haman and Haman then orchestrating the murder and destruction of all Jews, Esther’s purpose is revealed.

<span style=”font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: ‘Times New Roman’,serif;”>Because of her beauty Esther made it to the palace as King Xerxes’ wife. When Mordecai heard of Haman’s intent to kill all the Jews, he contacted Esther and told her she had to go to the King to plead for her peoples lives. Esther was hesitant because she knew she was risking her life to do so. But she was obedient and did approach the King and her people were in the end spared. <span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”>

<span style=”font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: ‘Times New Roman’,serif;”>It is so amazing to see the workings of our God and how he used an orphan woman who was a Jew to gain the love, trust and confidence of the King.
