Leviticus goes into detail of the priests and high priest, and how they are to be clothed, duties to be performed and different sacrifices of blood at the altar. Chapter 16 the book of atonement is where we see the high priest enter the most holy place to bring forgiveness through the blood that was sacrificed on the Altar. I am thankful that we do not have to go through all of this for our sins to be forgiven, but Jesus became the sacrificial lamb to forgive my sins, your sins. Thank you Jesus!
