Leviticus was the book of divine order. God needed to show us how to live in fellowship with Him. Because even though the people were out of Egypt, He needed to remind them of the His standard. It is sad to see how detailed God needed to get with some of the sins that were being practiced. But the sins needed to be exposed and Holiness needed to be taught. This book also just highlights how much we needed the ultimate sacrifice to cleanse us from all sins; past, present and future. No animal on Earth could have done what Jesus did.
