I spoke to a gal today who has been searching. She felt she could not come to God until she “cleaned up” so she would be accepted. I was able to tell her, no worries. You only have to do one thing. Surrender your life to Jesus and stay surrendered. According to Hebrews, JESUS DID EVERYTHING. AND IT WAS PERMANENT. No more sacrifice is necessary, our sins are forgiven through his death on the cross. She grew up Catholic just as I did. She understood when I explained to her that she could not make herself “clean” but she could accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, ask for forgiveness, and He would make her clean. Hebrews 10:14 came alive at that moment. She gave her life to Christ.
