Jeremiah was faithful to God in prophesying to the people of Judah about the coming judgement of God even though the people hated him and mocked him about the prophecies. In Jeremiah 20 verse 9, Jeremiah speaks about not being able to contain the word of God but he has to speak it because it burns like a fire within him. I can relate to Jeremiah in this sense because there are times when the Holy Spirt gives promptings to say something to someone or in front of people and I am unable to hold it in and I must be obedient to God.
