The book of James is a good reminder that faith without works is dead. Not only do we have to be hearers of the Word, we have to be doers of the Word. We have to have a great faith to be able to count trials and tribulations of this life as joy. We have to be able to control our tongue and use Godly wisdom. We should store up heavenly treasures not earthly treasures.
