I & II Chronicles

The books of I & II Chronicles, recounts the history of the bible from Adam to Nehemiah. These books recount this history in the order it transpired. What stays in my mind is the history of Saul and David. How Saul lost his kingdom because of his disobedience to God specifically consulting with a medium for guidance instead of God. Then the reign of King David who although he fell and sinned with Bathsheba, David confessed his sin and asked God for forgiveness which God gave him and continued to bless him and his kingdom.

Knowing the Bible is factual and believing this since I was a small child, but had not read or studied the Bible other than Sunday Bible Schools and reading it now as a lesson in history brings an entirely different understanding of the magnitude of the teaching of the Holy Bible. <span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”>
