Ezra is about spiritual restoration. He led the second group of exiles back to Israel and reestablishing the temple. God is full of grace and mercy. When we depart from him because of disobedience we lose out on His blessings, but when we turn back to Him, he is there to restore us with love.
Nehemiah led the third return of the exiles. We could also learn from his leadership in this book, Nehemiah was able to bring a community together to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls in just 52 days amid opposition.
