<p class=”MsoNormal”>These books detail the return of the captives that returned to Jerusalem after being taken captive by Babylonia. The captives returning are referred to as “the remnant” because of the small <span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> </span>percentage of those retuned that had been taken.</p>
<p class=”MsoNormal”>We read how Ezra rebuilt the temple and Nehemiah rebuilt the wall. The opposition they encountered and how they overcame. They overcame by never losing their faith in God and staying obedient to God.</p>
<p class=”MsoNormal”>The correlation of what we have learned in our Leadership Class of staying under cover in the Lords protection is so apparent. Obedience, trust and faith are required at all times to stay under cover however even more importantly we obey, trust, and have faith in our Lord because we love Him, and our desire is to honor Him always.<span style=”mso-spacerun: yes;”> </span>In our Through the Bible in a Year textbook on page 64 letter h. It reads, Ezra depended on God = to seek the right way” and letter i. No Compromise = Pray instead of yielding are two great examples on how we should live our lives.</p>
