The book of Ezra details the Israelites return to the land of Palestine after their captivity in Babylon. The book opens with the return of a large group of exiles and the rebuilding of the Temple under Zerubbabel. Ezra was also schooled in the law of Moses. Ezra dealt with the problems such as marriages between Israelites and non Israelites. I could not imagine being married to my husband for many years and have children with him to create this bond as a family. Then someone in Authority comes in and places Gods law which divides the family. Thank you for the Blood of Jesus!
