Exodus

Exodus was not only how God delivered his people from Egypt, but also where the 10 commandments were given.  The Israelites entered a covenant with the Lord much like the covenant we all live under today, the covenant of Grace through Jesus Christ.

In Exodus we see God using Moses to deliver the Israelites out of bondage from the Egyptians. Moses is a shadow of what was to come. Moses represents Jesus. The way Moses delivered the children of God from Egypt this shows how Jesus by dying and paying for our sins delivered Gentiles and Jews alike from the bondage of sin and eternal punishment.
