I always found this story so intriguing. When Mordecai says “perhaps you were made queen for just such a time a this?” It must have been such an honor to have been chosen to be queen but what a greater call God had for her. Esther would be the one to save Gods people from total annihilation. She knew the strength needed to get it done so she asked for her uncle to fast and pray and she did as well. What power comes after fasting and prayer.
