I liked in chapter 2 Paul is asking Timothy to continue to disciple others just as he was taught. Paul also reminds him, and us, to be a son, a soldier, an athlete, a farmer, a student, a vessel, and most importantly a servant.
I like how Paul uses those titles because it reminds us that no matter what role we are in, we need to adapt to be whatever God needs us to be to share his word and allow his will to be done in our lives.
I like this chapter of 2Timothy. Jesus was the perfect example, of how we as Christians should live. And as a disciple of Jesus Christ, Paul continued through Timothy. Passing on discipleship to leadership through the teachings and examples of Jesus. These things we still apply today in the examples we live today as Christians.
