Can someone say NAMES!! Oh my goodness….so many names! What detail it must have taken to list all of them and to know that those people will remain in history forever! I have to be honest, the names were not my favorite part. But after all of that we have the death of Saul and David taking over as king. He was the most loved and just king in all Jewish history. He would have loved to build the Temple but the Lord said that wasn’t his job, it would be given to his son Solomon. It goes through the gold, silver and bronze needed for the building of the Temple along with many other specifications. David was ridiculed my Michal, Saul’s daughter for “dancing” for the Lord and poor Uzzah died after touching the ark to try and avoid it from falling.
