Nahum- This book describes a powerful and just God who maintains his moral standards and offers hope to those who are despised and beat down. Nahum teaches us to trust God because he is faithful and to have assurance that he will stand with those who belong to him. The central message of this book is, “The Lord is slow to anger… great in power… and will not at all acquit the wicked.” Or as Romans 12:19 says, do not take revenge, the Lord will repay.
