All these prophets speak of a hope that is available not only to the Jewish people but to all people They all teach that hope is found in God and God is the main character in each book. The main theme  is that as log as we trust in God and live for him God’s blessing will be on our lives. In the book of Hosea we see that the Israelites  have turned away  God and are headed down a rough road of destruction. God promises he is near to those who call upon His name.

Joel tells us God will do great things don’t be afraid don’t ever let fear be a factor in the choices you make  fear blocks the promise of God he also talks about restoration Joel 2;25 I will give you back what you lost to the locust. Joel also talks about be ready, equip yourself and so much more.

Amos was proclaiming that God wants us to let go  of anything that would hold us back so we can experience all God has for us He taught that we need to experience His abundant life here on earth as well as God wants all areas of our lives. Amos 5;4 talks about come back to me and live we serve a God of blessing faithfulness and abundance He is the God of more than enough

Obadiah  his message was God’s sovereign justice in order to strengthen his people’s  faith the lord cares for his people and  is always at work on their behalf

Jonah wow what a book I enjoyed it a lot basically he was running in the wrong direction away from the Lord and his commands Jonah 1;9 the Lord corrects those he loves. This books shows us even when we make mistakes even when we bring trouble on ourselves God is merciful he will still bring us out and will turn things around for us. God not only turned things around for Jonah and gave him another chance but God used Jonah as an example of prophecy would be fulfilled

Micah he knew how to encourage himself in the Lord he understood how to draw courage and purpose into his life He realized the power in his words and knew that speaking he truth is the most effective way to prepare us for all God has for us
